The price of pictures is very high, seems like they take too many and we pay the price because they trash so many of them. they need to reduce the number taken to reduce the price. we did have a very comfortable stateroom. The ship was in good condition, a bit old but ok. |

| Rating: Traveled on: 07/08/2012 Reviewed on: 07/17/2012 Review: The Magic is a beautiful ship. Large and spacious, her amenities and crew are top-notch. My kids really enjoyed the water slides, and the sportsquare deck. We have been on three cruises with Carnival, and have enjoyed all three. The only things slightly negative for the Magic in our view was that the service in the Southern Lights dining room was a bit slower than what we've experienced in the past on the other ships. The wait staff were friendly enough, but it seemed that as we were getting our dessert, most of the guests were finishing theirs and leaving. Also, the sportsquare deck needed a little more supervision. It seemed that there were always plates of half-eaten food, cups, and trash around the deck, and all over the tables and furniture. They might want to put someone in charge of the kids up there too. There seemed to be absolutely no supervision at all, so the deck was very unkempt. However, those are the only two things, as the rest of the voyage was great. We are already looking forward to our next cruise, most likely with Carnival and definitely through Sims Family Tours and Travel! I still give the Magic five stars, as well as Bob and Connie's service! |
